Newton MA Impact Inc a Not-For-Profit was created with the mission to promote and advocate for the general well-being and special welfare of the community on the south side of Newton, Massachusetts, including but not limited to protecting the health and safety of our environment and children

Our group started in 2022 to engage with Newton’s city government to better represent the needs of the community in the face of big developers. 528 Boylston St. (Route 9) is our first and foremost concern, but many other developments are being proposed across Newton that are out of the scale and character of the neighborhoods in which they will be built, as well as bring safety, traffic, environmental and other issues with them. These luxury high rises rental apartments do little to address the affordable housing crisis affecting Newton, and much of Massachusetts.
